In 1972, his son Wallace Hayward Baker began his leadership of the company with the creative vision of making it a premier specialty contractor. Today, Hayward Baker Inc. is the leading geotechnical construction contractor in North America. In 1984, Hayward Baker was acquired by the Keller Group plc.
