Bio:
Mr. Avery joined Hayward Baker in 2005. His business development management covers California, Arizona and Nevada.  He brings to this role many years of experience in the tunneling and geotechnical fields.  Mr. Avery has been involved in many aspects of rock and soil anchoring, jet grouting, micropile installation and rock and soil grouting.  He has authored many papers on tunneling, anchoring and grouting, and has presented and taught aspects of grouting at seminars and short courses. Mr. Avery holds both a BS and MS degree in Geological Engineering from the University of Arizona, and is a registered Civil Engineer.

Mr. Taylor joined Hayward Baker in 1988. Bio:
Mr. Hanke joined Hayward Baker in 2001 and has worked within the Western Region as part of the management team in the Los Angeles, Seattle, and Vancouver area offices. Bio:
Mr. Pengelly joined Hayward Baker in 1988 with the acquisition of Woodbine Corporation. He has served as Project Manager, Regional Manager and is presently the Vice President of the Central Region. Mr. Pengelly’s area of concentration has been with expansive clays. He has authored several papers on the subject of treating expansive clay soils, while managing over 500 projects ranging from new construction, remedial treatment of existing structures and railroad subgrade treatment.

Bio:
Following seven years with a national geotechnical consulting firm, Jim has worked for Hayward Baker since 1984 and has designed and managed projects involving most ground improvement technologies. His current responsibilities include directing marketing and business development activities for Hayward Baker Inc., as well as technical oversight of projects in the Southeast Region.

Jim has authored many publications, as well as being Associate Editor for ASCE Geotechnical Special Publication No. 69, Ground Improvement, Ground Reinforcement and Ground Treatment. He is active in the Geo-Institute of the American Society of Civil Engineers where he is the past Chairman of the National Soil Improvement Committee and currently serves as a member of the Technical Coordination Council overseeing the activities of the Soil Improvement Committee, the Grouting Committee and the Deep Soil Mixing Task Force.

Bio:
Mr. Rosen has over 25 years of experience as a geotechnical engineer and project manager preparing subsurface investigation studies, remedial investigation exploration and studies, landslide analysis, soil nail wall design and specialty foundation and retaining wall design and construction. Additionally, Mr. Rosen has an abundance of experience in the evaluation and design of pavement for highway and road construction for automobile and tire test track facilities. Mr. Rosen has also conducted numerous forensic studies for structures. He is a registered Professional Engineer in TN, KY, FL, GA, LA, AL and NC and is also a registered Land Surveyor in TN. Mr. Rosen holds B.S. and M.S. degrees from the University of Tennessee in Civil Engineering and Soil Mechanics and Materials Engineering, respectively. In addition, Mr. Rosen teaches graduate level geotechnical engineering courses at the University of Tennessee at Knoxville.
