This seminar will focus on ground improvement techniques applicable to the Low Country, that can:
- Reduce static and/or liquefaction-induced settlement
- Eliminate deep foundations
- Increase allowable bearing pressure
- Allow construction adjacent to existing structures
We will present the advantages and limitations of each technique and also provide guidance on what to look out for in specifying and procuring geotechnical construction, both from the General Contractor’s and the Architect/Engineer’s perspective.
Lunch will be provided (Home Team BBQ!), and we will give away two RTIC© 20 coolers. PDH Credits will be provided. The event is provided at no cost to you. If you can't make the Charleston event, please see our other seminars in Columbia, SC (May 24) and Greenville, SC (May 31).
