Jacked Piers

Jacked Piers can be installed for structural support in either an interior or exterior location. They are not only effective at stopping settlement, but can also raise the structure, closing cracks and correcting other structural flaws caused by the settlement and/or ground movement.

Jacked Pier Systems
  • Provide for a two-stage system of initially hydraulically pushing the manufactured piers to load bearing support, then using hydraulic jacks, lifting the structure to the desired elevation.
Jacked Pier Design
  • Design should involve professional engineering input.
  • Specific information involving the structures, soil characteristics and foundation conditions must be considered in determining the final design.

Jacked Pier Applications
  • Settlement remediation for structures of all types for loads up to 100 kips per pier.
  • Stabilization of existing structures.
  • Underpinning.
Jacked Pier QA/QC
  • Each pier is manufactured in a state-of-the-art fabricating facility. With rigid quality control, consistent quality is assured.
  • Because each pier is installed with a hydraulic jack of known area and pressure, the load on the pier is monitored at all times. In effect, each pier is tested as it is installed.
Benefits of Jacked Pier Systems
  • Fast installation.
  • No vibration, no noise.
  • Easy installation in limited access areas.
  • Minimum disturbance to site.
  • Immediate loading.
  • Equipment portability.
  • On-site load test performed on every installed pier.
  • Enhanced factor of safety available through optional helical outriggers for supplemental drive resistance.
  • No drill spoil or waste. Very clean procedure.
