Technical Details

The corrosion-resistant baskets are placed and filled on-site by hand. The baskets are stacked on top of one another and are generally stepped back to construct a tiered or sloped wall. Gabion walls are effective in protecting slopes from erosion. Tie backs can also be applied to resist lateral loads.
